In response to a growing demand from customers, Proboat is pleased to offer a large selection of Wichard, Kong and Maillon Rapide AISI 316 stainless steel fittings in a new hard black finish that gives an elegant and aggressive look. This black stainless steel surface coating is demanded in specific applications such as military parachuting and military equipment where the quality of AISI 316 stainless steel is required but without the traditional shiny surface colour. Most of these items are load rated and stamped with the relevant working or break loads. Certificates of conformity and batch numbering is also available on request.
Perfect for military, theatre, stage lighting or fashion applications, this UV and corrosion resistant treatment is applied without the addition of material to the surface, so the dimensional and mechanical properties of the original product are maintained
